Location
The biggest preference—and usually the starting point—for home-buying clients is location. Naturally, when you decide you want to purchase a home you first think about where you want to live first. From there it’s thinking about what kind of home you want to live in, etc.
Age and Condition
Age and condition are also super important to home buyers. Some people want a ready-to-move-in home, while others don’t mind doing a bit of work on it—and thus, spending time and money to do that work.
Layout and Size
Also important qualities to take into account! Whether it’s just you, you and your partner, you and your family, etc., the size of a home and how many rooms it has come top of mind—and is usually one of the first things buyers will consider. The layout can make or break a buyer’s decision to purchase a home as well. You want to make sure the home works well for you and your needs!
Home Style
Some people prefer one type of home to another, and there’s nothing wrong with that! That’s what we’re here for—to find the exact home that you’ve always dreamed of living in.
Personal Preference
There are a lot of other details that people look into when buying a home. Some may prefer to live in a neighborhood—specifically in a culdesac!—while others want more distance from other homes. Then there are details like a swimming pool, backyard, patio/deck, etc. Location is also very important to a lot of buyers, whether they want to be close to stores, downtown areas, or specific schools.
