I am going to creep it real for a minute… I LOVE the dark paint color trend and, with it being spooky season, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! I say, “go bold, or go home.” Dark exteriors make for the ultimate focal point. While some may think this dramatic paint looks like something out of a horror movie, it’s actually very trendy and creates great curb appeal. Check out some of my favorites below from Plank and Pillow and Brick and Batton.
Sherwin Williams Black Magic
Black Magic is a soft black that looks great paired with stained woods.
Plank and Pillow recommends using a flat finish for your exterior paint. When you use a sheen, it tends to show more imperfections, especially in direct sunlight.
Sherwin Williams Iron Ore
This grayish black color is great for those that do not want to go too dark.
Benjamin Moore Black Knight
Black Knight by Benjamin Moore is a deep, dark black exterior paint color with rich green undertones. Brick and Batten recommends pairing this color with natural tones like wood and landscaping to soften it a bit.
Benjamin Moore Deep River
Dark gray with a deep forest green undertone… yes, please!
Benjamin Moore Raccoon Fur
I love this dark gray paint color that has blue undertones and a super fun name! I also like the black window trim that really makes everything pop.
