Here’s our itinerary for our perfect day in Fenton (it’s worth the short drive from Raleigh—trust us!).

The perfect day (or any day really!) starts with a great cup of coffee! Carriage House Coffee serves gourmet coffee drinks—made with beans from local roasters—out of its cute coffee truck situated near Fenton’s main square. For all you “Harry Potter” fans out there, they even have a Butter Beer Latte!

There are a host of shops at Fenton—so get your wallets ready! 😉 While you sip on your coffee, stroll through spots like Altar’d State, Athleta, Free People, Pottery Barn, and so many more.

A Super Lunch
Shopping can definitely make you hungry! Ford Fry’s Tex-Mex restaurant, Superica, serves up some delicious grub, from tacos and fajitas to enchiladas to specialties like chile relleno and chalupas. No matter what you order, always start with the queso fundido and a margarita!

Grab a Drink + Hit the Rink
In case you didn’t know, Fenton is a social district (!), so you can grab a to-go drink from Dram & Draught and then “skate the square” at the new ice skating rink! A $16 ticket gets 75 minutes of skating time (purchase online beforehand or on-site). What an ice way to spend the day!

Dinner is served at Colletta! The new Italian restaurant, which means “collection” in Italian, is just that—a collection of pizza, pasta, appetizers like burrata and calamari, and entrees like ribeye “Florentine” and whole branzino panzanella. You’re gonna wanna get one of everything—and you should!
