Please help us in welcoming the newest member of the Hudson Residential team, Rick Meadows! Rick (who is also my husband!) has been licensed for a few years now, helping me and Hudson Residential’s Ryan Boone on smaller assignments when needed, but will be much more active now that he’s retired from the beauty industry and is joining the team in full force with all of his newfound time.
About Rick
Rick is an NC State grad (BA in speech/communication with an emphasis on interpersonal and organizational communication) and a proud fraternity man with experience in many industries. Not only did he spend several years in the beauty world, but he is also a professional actor! He played a cop in 2006’s “Purse Snatcher” and Coach Hines in 2010’s “The 5th Quarter,” and will star as James McHenry in the five-episode miniseries “1787 the American Constitution,” which is currently in production. Locally, his credits include Theatre in the Park‘s “Regrets Only,” Theatre Raleigh‘s “Urinetown, The Musical,” and Raleigh Little Theatre‘s “Guys and Dolls.”
Going back to his beauty experience, Rick has served as a sales consultant for SalonCentric, a division of L’Oreal USA, since 2008. While in the role, he was named to the President’s Club and Million Dollar Club several years in a row, and earned No. 1 in sales for the Carolinas. In 2013, he finished fifth out of 120 consultants in the Southeast region; in 2018, his salon sales reached $1.5 million, and in 2019, $1.7 million.
